Kareim is a native Detroiter and holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Clark Atlanta University with an emphasis on Insurance and Risk Management
Kareim holds a Life and Health Insurance license in the State of Michigan and spent 10 years in sales management before launching his own brokerage firm, Great Lakes Benefit Group (GLBG), in 2006 - where he currently serves as President and CEO. GLBG provides benefit consulting for the K-12 traditional public and charter school districts in multiple states throughout the country.
In addition to his business interests Mr. Cade is a graduate of Leadership Oakland XV and has held several leadership positions in community organizations.
